Designs for the kids from tots upward.  As with all the patterns I have tried to give you an idea of the difficulty rating.

If you have questions about any pattern, or technical questions eg how to knit a front border onto a cardigan instead of sewing it on afterwards, let me know and I will answer.

Sirdar B4422  Chevron lace pattern V-neck cardigan in 4ply

The basic V-neck raglan sleeve cardigan (see below) made a bit special with an all-over chevron lace pattern in 4ply yarn.  Sizes are 24 to 30 inch (61 to 76cms) chest.  This leaflet has some pen marks on it where someone has circled the instructions for the 26inch size on the instructions for the back.  Although this does not make the pattern less useable, it is only £1.50 with the usual free p+p

King Cole 7032  V-neck raglan sleeved cardigan in 12 sizes

A good choice for a school cardigan, but this classic design is always useful.  It is a nice easy pattern with the button bands being knitted after and then sewn on.  It would be easy to make the change and knit them on as you go, as long as you knit the button side first.  Very good condition leaflet.  £2.00

Bronte 851  Round or V-neck school jumper

A very practical style for school, with raglan sleeves and choice of necklines.  Sizes are 24 to 30ins (61 to 76cms) chest.  A lovely, easy pattern which could be made special by using spot dyed or random yarn or by adding applique motifs.  Good leaflet, only £2.00.

Robin 119  Saddle shoulder round neck cabled sweater

Knitted in double knitting (light worsted) on 8mm needles this sweater is sized for 26 to 34inch (66 to 95cms).  The saddle shoulder, where the top of the sleeve is extended in a strip right up to the neckband, does mean that there is less shaping to do on the front and back for the neckline.  Shame it doesn't show up too well in this picture.  As you can see, the leaflet has a heavy crease across the middle but is otherwise in good condition.  £2.00.

Patons 9216  Fair Isle jacket and hat with leggings and mittens

This old pattern looks surprisingly up-to-date.  It has 3 sizes to fit 18 months to 5 years (22ins, 23ins and 25ins).  Clearly, this is not for beginners but is one of the simpler multicolour patterns because no more than 2 colours are used at one time so it is easier to strand across the back of the work without getting tangled.  The jacket, hat and mitts would look great with the usual jeans and really brighten up a cold day.  This pattern is knitted on 3.75 and 3mm needles in quickerknit yarn. As you can see, the leaflet is creased but clean and useable.  £2.00 and free p+p

Robin 13347   Icelandic style two-colour sweater in 9 sizes

This nice simple sweater is knitted on 4.4mm, 5.5mm and 6mm needles so is probably equivalent to chunky, although only Robin Homespun is mentioned in the pattern and I don't think this is still available.  It would be a very good introduction to colourwork as only the two colours are used and this gives an attractive result.  Sized for 24inch to 40inch chest.  The leaflet has punch holes which do not affect the pattern but is otherwise in good condition.  £2 with FREE p+p.

Jarol E665   Round neck or collared sweater with contrast trim, crochet flowers and matching knitted headband

Sweater with choice of neckline and optional crochet flower decoration.  The knitted hairband instructions are also included.  Very simple, great for a beginner, the random spot-dyed dk yarn gives visual appeal to a plain stocking stitch design.  Not much to say about it, it is very straightforward and comes in sizes 20inch to 28inch chest.  The leaflet is in excellent condition.  £2 and FREE post and packing.
